On-line Retrieval of Radio Codes

Effective April 1, 1994 the procedure to retrieve radio codes has been expanded to include all original equipment fixed code radios.

PROCEDURE:

1.

From the V-Crest sign on menu, type SF in the source field.

2.

From the Service Follow-up menu, type 12 (Radio Decoder) in the Function field.

3.

From the RADIO DECODER screen, enter the radio serial number.

NOTE

Blaupunkt radios with 5-digit serial numbers require a model number ("SC88A, SC88B, SC88C or SCS" for the Hide-away radios). Newer
Blaupunkt radios require a 14-digit serial number("BP8800N...").  Heidelberg, Wiesbaden, Delta, and Delta/Bose radios have a 14-digit serial
number ("VWZ5Z..."). 

Dealers without V-Crest service must fax their request to 810-340-4830. Warranty Processing will respond to the Dealer within twenty-four (24) hours
after receipt of the request.
