Remove acorn nut A, take off bolt B

-

Pull seat adjustment handle to release retaining rod C from seat guide

-

Push seat to rear and out of seat tracks

-

Tilt seat back for access to electrical connectors under seat

-

Disconnect all electrical connectors to seat

-

Tag wires for proper identification

-

Remove seat assembly from vehicle and place on workbench

-

Remove plastic rear backrest cover of front seat

-

Remove side trim panel covers from seat cushion

-

Remove backrest assembly

-

Loosen seat cover from seat cushion

-

Remove upholstery clips and seat cover

CAUTION 

(chart 5 and 6) DO NOT cut into leather seat cover, DO NOT cut closer than ( a ) to seat cover seam. ( a )=5.0 mm (13/64 in.)

Cut off old element side panels (as shown) in Fig 3.

Cut out top cover, foam padding and old element from center section, as shown in Fig 4.
