Accumulator HVAC: Description and Operation
Heater/Evaporator Assembly
The A/C Refrigerant Accumulator acts as a storage device for liquid refrigerant after it passes through the evaporator. The Accumulator separates the
liquid and vapor refrigerant. It contains a desiccant (drying agent) to absorb small amounts of moisture.
