A VAS Tester Diagnosis log, using VEHICLE SELF DIAGNOSIS, of the airbag and engine control units stored in an electronic document format. The
VIN and customer's name are to be included. DO NOT CLEAR ANY FAULT DATA.

Tip: Based on the above information, we may want to inspect this vehicle.

2. Place call to a GM Engineer.

3. If a customer requests information about airbag or safety belt systems, please advise the customer to call the Customer Care Center.

Tip: We also recommend that you never deliver a vehicle with a deployed airbag or pyrotechnic safety belt to the customer. 

WARRANTY

The engineer will determine the next course of action. This includes rental or loaner vehicle reimbursement.
