Air Bag Voltage Stabilizer: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation of Voltage Transformer
1. Disarm airbag system. See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair
- Disconnect battery ground cable and cover negative terminal during work on airbag unit.
- Disconnect connector for voltage supply.
2. Remove rear seat.
3. Unscrew voltage transformer. Torque mounting nuts to 6 Nm (53 in lb)
