Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

    When replacing the power steering pump, it is not necessary to remove the pulley. Tighten nuts and bolts to specifications.
    On 1989-91 models, banjo bolts with various opening sizes are provided for connecting suction hose to pump. During repairs, correct banjo
bolt must be selected. If code Number on label of pump is 1, select bolt without an identification groove on head of bolt. If code Number on label
of pump is 2 or 3, select bolt with one identification groove on head of bolt.
