Fuel Shut-off Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
Requirements:
-
engine cold
-
connect tester according to manufacturer's instructions
NOTE: TDC sensor must be fully seated into transmission housing.
-
use additional connector (local supply) to attach test wire onto ignition coil terminal (arrow)
-
push back rubber boot of connector for cut-off valve
-
attach multimeter US 1119 to connector contact
-
turn ignition ON
-
specification: 0.0 volts DC
IF OK:
-
replace the cutoff control unit
