Idle Speed: Adjustments
Fast Idle Linkage

1.

Loosen the screw on the fast idle linkage slip collar (located next to the fast idle lever) and rotate sleeve 90°.

2.

Push the lever in the direction away from the injection lines as far as it will go.

3.

Measure the distance between the ball at the top of the fast idle linkage and the throttle linkage arm (spot where ball usually acts upon).  The gap
should be 1/2 inch (12.7 mm).  Adjust linkage to obtain proper gap as needed.

4.

Return the fast idle linkage slip collar to its original position and tighten screw.
