With RPM adjustment lever on idle stop, actuation lever (transmission) must be in "No-gas" position

-

Fully depress the accelerator pedal up to the full throttle pressure point (No kickdown)

The over travel spring must not be compressed

-

Depress accelerator pedal past full throttle point (in direction of arrow) up to stop (kickdown)
-

Actuation lever (transmission) is against stop and over travel spring is compressed

-

Release accelerator pedal

-

Re-install cruise control system

-

Linkage should be free from tension, adjust if necessary

-

Re-install cold start advance mechanism (free from tension)

-

Mount cable for cold start accelerator
