Brake Fluid Accumulator: Testing and Inspection
Checking Pressure Accumulator Pressure Relief Valve

1.
Ensure pump delivery rate is within specifications. Refer to ``Checking Brake Servo Operating Pressure,'' step 5.
2.
With engine off, depress brake pedal approximately 20 times to reduce brake system pressure.
3.
Disconnect electrical connector at and remove warning light switch.
4.
Attach suitable pressure gauge with hollow bolt and copper washers to brake servo unit. Attach thick copper washer between brake servo unit and
banjo fitting and the thin copper washer between hollow bolt and banjo fitting.
5.
Start engine and let idle until pressure gauge reading exceeds 2030 psi.
6.
If more than 2030 psi cannot be achieved, replace pressure accumulator and recheck system pressure.
