Check resistance between terminals 1 and 4 of the coil. Resistance should be 5000 - 6000 ohms.

Check resistance between terminals 1 and 15 of the coil. Resistance should be 0.5 - 1.5 ohms.
7.
If either resistance value is not within specification, replace the ignition coil with its' power stage.
NOTE: The function of the power stage is not to be tested on either version.
