Vehicles with attached bearing housing only:

Apply locking compound D6 to splines of outer constant velocity joint over an area of approximately 5 mm wide (arrow) and then install axle
shaft
Note: When installing the right drive shaft do not damage the boot on the cover plate.
Caution: Allow locking compound D6 at least 60 minutes to harden with vehicle stationary.

Reverse removal procedure for the remainder of install
