Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Vacuum Motor, Removal and Installation

Remove heater box and evaporator housing (Case) assembly. 

-

Remove vacuum motor mounting screw.

-

Remove vacuum motor.

-

Check length -X- of vacuum motor arm. Length of vacuum motor arm is adjustable.

-

Must be 50 mm (1-31/32 in.)

If no:

-

Remove clip from arm and adjust arm length.

-

Reinstall clip.

-

Install vacuum motor in reverse order of removal noting the following:

-

Make sure flap arms move freely after installation.

-

Fresh air/recirculating flap must travel from stop to stop
