Removing and installing window regulator
   
Removing and installing window regulator
1 - Window regulator
q   Removing:
q   Door trim removed → Rep. gr.70
q   Window regulator motor removed → Chapter
q   Door window removed → Chapter
q   Cover for inner door panel removed → Chapter
–  Release threaded pin for window regulator motor and push through inner panel.
–  Loosen nut (top), but do not remove.
–  Unscrew bottom nut and lift window regulator out of door.
–  Lift window regulator out through opening in inner door panel.

q   Tightening torque → Item
3 - Nut
q   Tightening torque → Item
4 - Door
5 - Threaded pin
–  Use an 11 mm socket attachment to release catches -arrow- of threaded pins for window regulators (push socket attachment onto threaded pin).

Removing
   
–  Remove window regulator motor → Chapter.
–  Remove door window → Chapter.
–  Use an 11 mm socket attachment to release catches -arrow- of threaded pins for window regulators (push socket attachment onto threaded pin).
–  Press threaded pin out of inner door panel.
–  Unfasten cable with clip -1- from inner door panel.

–  Loosen nuts -2- at top of window regulator, but do not remove.
–  Unclip window regulator control unit.
–  Remove nuts -2- at bottom of window regulator.
–  First press window regulator with threaded pins out of inner door panel at bottom; then lift it out of "key-holes".
–  Lift window regulator out through opening in inner door panel towards rear.

Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Screw nuts -2- loosely onto threaded pins.
–  Guide in window regulator -1- through opening in inner door panel and first insert it at top in "key-holes" -3- in direction of -arrow-.
–  Slide threaded pins at bottom of window regulator through inner door panel and secure with nuts.
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
l  Catches -5- of threaded pins -6- for window regulator must engage in inner door panel.
–  Install door window → Chapter.
–  Install window regulator motor → Chapter.
