| Remove the luggage compartment floor covering. |
| –
| Equipment version with BOSE sound system: Remove the BOSE sound system trim panel → Chapter. |
| –
| Take out the vehicle tool kit mount. |
| –
| Detach the rear lid seal -1- in the area of the rear cross panel trim. |
| –
| Working vertically upwards, unclip the rear cross panel trim -2- with the removal lever -80 - 200--arrows-. |
Note | Considerable force is required to unclip the rear cross panel trim from the rear cross panel. |
| –
| Unplug the connector, unclip and detach the rear cross panel trim. |
| Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following: |

| Insert the retainer tabs of the rear cross panel trim on the left and right in the recesses of the luggage compartment side trim -5-. |
| –
| Insert the rear cross panel trim such that the tabs engage with the pins -3, 4-. |
| –
| Fold the rear lid seal over the rear cross panel trim. |
