Removing and installing exhaust gas temperature sender 4G648
Removing and installing exhaust gas temperature sender 4 -G648-
   
Removing
–  Unplug electrical connector -3- for exhaust gas temperature sender 4 -G648- and move electrical wiring clear.
  Note
Disregard -items 1, 2, 4-.
  N26-10416
–  Unscrew exhaust gas temperature sender 4 -G648--arrow- from exhaust pipe behind particulate filter.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Exhaust gas temperature control and Lambda probe - exploded view“
  Note
t  Take care to protect exhaust gas temperature sender from knocks and impact; if dropped, the exhaust gas temperature sender can no longer be used.
t  Coat threads of exhaust gas temperature sender with high-temperature paste → Electronic parts catalogue.
