t  Blue = Large coolant circuit.
t  Red = Small coolant circuit.
t  Green = Coolant circuit for exhaust gas recirculation.
t  Arrows show direction of coolant flow.
   
1 - Radiator
q   If renewed, refill system with fresh coolant
2 - Pump for exhaust gas recirculation cooler -V400-
3 - 4/2-way valve
4 - Coolant pump
5 - Radiator outlet coolant temperature sender -G83-
6 - Coolant expansion tank
7 - Filler cap
q   Checking pressure relief valve → Anchor
8 - Exhaust gas recirculation cooler
q   If renewed, refill system with fresh coolant
9 - Cylinder head/cylinder block
q   If renewed, refill system with fresh coolant
10 - Coolant temperature sender -G62-
11 - Heat exchanger for heater
q   If renewed, refill system with fresh coolant
12 - Engine oil cooler
q   If renewed, refill system with fresh coolant
13 - Non-return valve
14 - Non-return flap
