Removing and installing washer fluid reservoir
Removing and installing washer fluid reservoir
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Drip tray
   
Removing
  Note
Refit all cable ties at the same locations when reinstalling.
–  Removing headlight housing: halogen headlights → Chapter, gas discharge headlights → Chapter.
–  Remove filler neck for washer fluid reservoir → Chapter.
–  Cut open cable tie -1- and move clear wiring harness -3-.
–  Press retaining clip off locating element -2- upwards -arrow-.

–  Remove front right wheel housing liner → Rep. gr.66.
–  Place drip tray under washer fluid reservoir.
–  Unplug electrical connectors -1, 3- and detach wiring harness -4- from retainer on washer fluid reservoir.
–  Release retaining clips -arrows- and disconnect washer fluid hoses -7, 8- from washer pump -V5-.
–  Press release tabs -6- and disconnect washer fluid hose from headlight washer system pump -V11-.
–  Turn headlight washer system pump clockwise and unplug electrical connector -5-.
–  Remove nut -2-.

–  Reach into opening -2- and pull air intake grille -1- at bottom right out of bumper cover -arrow-.
–  Versions equipped with fog lights: Remove right fog light → Chapter.
–  Versions equipped with horn (right-side): Remove treble horn (right-side) → Chapter.

–  Remove nut -2-.
–  Detach washer fluid reservoir -1- towards wheel housing.
Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install treble horn (right-side) → Chapter.
–  Install fog light → Chapter.
–  Install front right wheel housing liner → Rep. gr.66.
–  Install filler neck for washer fluid reservoir → Chapter.
–  Install headlight housing: halogen headlights → Chapter, gas discharge headlights → Chapter.
