Removing and installing relay/fuse holder F -SF- with onboard supply control unit -J519-

Removing –  Remove windscreen wiper motor -V- → Chapter. –  Remove bolts -arrows-. –  Detach bulkhead cover -1-.

–  Release retaining clips -arrows-, press cover -1- towards inside and turn to the side.

–  Remove bolts -1, 2, 4-. –  Take electrical wiring harness -3- out of retainer -arrow-. –  Remove onboard supply control unit -J519- → Chapter.

–  Release retaining clip and press off additional fuse holder -2-. –  Release retaining clips -arrows- to pull relay -1- and control units out of relay carriers.

–  Release retaining clips -arrows- and press relay carrier -3- towards rear out of holder -4-.   Note Disregard -items 1 and 2-.

–  Release retaining clip -arrow- and press fuse carrier -2- out of relay/fuse holder -1- towards rear.

–  Versions equipped with parking aid: Swivel front parking aid warning buzzer -H22--item 2- out of relay/fuse holder F -1--arrow-. –  Leave warning buzzer hanging with connector -3- plugged in.

–  Release retaining clip -1- and swivel data bus diagnostic interface -J533--item 2- out of retaining frame -arrow-. –  Leave data bus diagnostic interface hanging with connectors -3, 4- plugged in.

–  Cut through cable ties -4, 5-. –  Swivel relay/fuse holder F towards inside of vehicle to disengage retaining pin -2- of relay/fuse holder F -3- on central tube -1- for dash panel -arrow-.

Installing Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following: l  Tightening torque → Chapter, → Fig.. –  Engage retaining pin -1- of relay/fuse holder F -3- in mounting on central tube -2- for dash panel -arrow-. –  Install data bus diagnostic interface -J533- → Chapter. –  Install front parking aid warning buzzer -H22- → Chapter. –  Install windscreen wiper motor -V- → Chapter.
