| Check whether contacts 3, 5 and 6 at connector of supply lead/wiring harness for glove box (12-pin, brown) are assigned. |

| If this is the case, the supply lead/wiring harness for glove box and the wire for the warning lamp for airbag deactivated on front passenger side -K145-/multi-pin connector for airbag control unit -J234- have been fitted. |

| If these contacts are not assigned, the wiring harness 8E1 970 XXX must be retrofitted → Chapter. |
