| q | Before removing, insert protective foil - Audi A2 side window -V.A.G 1474/16- between trim parts and window flange (from inside), in order to protect trim parts. |
| 2 - | Adhesive bead |
| q | Note differing distances between adhesive bead and edge of window. |
| q | Dimension -a- at front edge of window = 15 mm ± 2 mm |
| q | Dimension -b- at bottom, rear and top edge of window = 9 mm ± 2 mm |
| 3 - | Trim surrounding window |
| q | Before removing window, cut off bottom section of trim surrounding window using a blade. |
| 4 - | Stop for C-pillar |
| q | When installing, push window towards the rear, so that stop makes contact with C-pillar. |
| 5 - | Adhesive tape |
| q | Mask window opening with fabric-backed adhesive tape to prevent damage to paintwork. |
