Panel gaps for door adjustment
1 - Door subframe
q   Dimension -a- = 4.5 mm + 1.5 mm.
q   Use setting gauge to set dimension -a- → Fig..
q   Dimension -b- = 5 mm - 2 mm.
q   Dimension -c- = 9.5 mm ± 1 mm.
q   Dimension -d- = 12 mm ± 1 mm
2 - Door window
q   Dimension -b- = 5 mm - 2 mm.
q   To check dimension -b- lower window completely into door seal.
q   Mark lower edge of door seal on window using a fine coloured pen.
q   Open door window and measure dimension -b- from top edge of window to marking made earlier.
3 - Side window (rear)
q   Dimension -e- = 8.5 mm ± 1 mm
4 - Rear door
q   Dimension -f- = 32 mm ± 1 mm
q   Can only be measured with door trim removed.

   
Making improvised setting gauge
–  Make improvised setting gauge -1- from plastic or plywood according to the specified dimensions.
l  Dimension -a- = 4.5 mm.
l  Dimension -b- = approx. 30 mm
–  If the door subframe is correctly adjusted, the gauge should make contact with the door window and roof trim moulding when applied at a point approx. 100 mm from B-pillar.
