| – | Remove lower B-pillar trim -12- → Chapter. |
| – | Unscrew bolts -11- (2x). |
| – | Detach guide bracket -10-. |
| – | Unclip cap -9- at bottom and lift it off. |
| – | Unscrew bolt -8-. |
| – | Detach cap -14-. |
| – | Unscrew bolt -13-. |
| – | Carefully unplug connector -3- → Fig. |
| – | Unscrew bolt -2-. |
| – | Lift out belt tensioner -1- with locating pin -15-. |
| t | Installing three-point seat belt |
| – | Engage belt tensioner -1- as shown in detail view with locating pin -15-. |
| – | As shown, fit webbing turned through 180° -arrow-. |
| – | -Arrow A- points in direction of travel. |
| – | Perform remaining installation operations in reverse order of removal. |
| t | After fitting passenger's side three-point seat belt, check belt function for child seat → Chapter. Three-point seat belt must not be impeded by cables, wires, sound absorbers or the like. |

| – | Lift out belt height adjuster -4-. |

| t | Height adjuster must be heard to engage in each of the 5 possible positions (including top position). |
| t | Following actuation, button must always return automatically to top position. |
