Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331/-
t  Removing
–  Release rear seat backrest by pulling release handle on left and right and fold rear seat backrest forwards.
  W00-0427
–  Unscrew bolts -1- and -2-.
t  Tightening torque 23 Nm
–  Detach striker plate -4-.
t  Installing
–  Install striker plate -4- in reverse order of removal.
–  Screw in bolt -2- with washer -3-.
