Removing

• ‒ Note radio code on vehicles with coded radio; if necessary request it.
• ‒ Removing driver's storage compartment.

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 68; Shelves/trim covers

Fitting location: In front tunnel area

• ‒ → Unscrew bolts -3-.
• ‒ Remove ESP sensor unit -2- upwards out of the bracket.
• ‒ Detach connector -1-.

Notes:

• ◆ The ESP sensor unit is sensitive to impact.
• ◆ If the ESP sensor unit has been dropped, it may not work properly. The sensor unit must no longer be used.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

• ‒ Initiate basic setting for the senders of the ESP sensor unit.

• ‒ Carry out ESP road test.
