t | A rubber element is fitted between the pulley and the drive shaft of the compressor to protect the belt if the compressor becomes jammed or stiff. |
t | If the compressor is not operating smoothly, the rubber element interrupts the power transmission to the compressor. |
t | Vibrations occurring during operation of the compressor are dissipated by the rubber element (damper function in the event of torque fluctuations). |
