| Before installing, check the seals attached to the fresh-air intake duct and the actual intake duct for damage. |

| After installing the fresh-air intake duct, check the water drain -A- for clearance from other components. |

| Replace the fresh air intake duct if the heat insulation is damaged. |

| After installing the new fresh-air intake duct, coat the seal with “Krytox” lubricant, part number G052 172.A2 (this will ensure that the front of the seal is seated more tightly against the sealing surface when the flap is installed for first time). |
