t	Thrust plate -VW 447 H-

t	Press tool -VW 411-

t	Centring mandrel -12 - 551-

t	Thrust plate -VW 401-

t	Press tool -VW 408 A-

t  -1-Internal puller, e.g. -Kukko 21/2- t  -4-counter support, e.g. -Kukko 22/1-

After removal, always renew needle bearings in clutch housing and in reverse shaft support.

1 -	Clutch housing

2 -	Needle bearing

q	Pulling out → Fig.

q	Pressing in → Fig.

3 -	Reverse gear wheel

Circlip

q	Always renew after removing

5 -	Reverse selector gear

q	Remove circlip before renewing

q	Shoulder faces towards reverse gear wheel

6 -	Reverse shaft

q	Removing → Chapter

7 -	Needle bearing

q	Pressing out → Fig.

q	Pressing in → Fig.

8 -	Reverse shaft support

q	Removing and installing → Chapter

Pulling needle bearing out of clutch housing A -  Counter-support, e.g. -Kukko 22/1- B -  Internal puller 14.5 ... 18.5 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/2-   Note The needle bearing is destroyed during removal and must be renewed.
