t  Universal dial gauge bracket -VW 387-
  W00-0037
t  Dial gauge -VAS 6079-
  W00-1261
Procedure
–  Measure with bucket tappets removed and bearing caps fitted.
–  Secure universal dial gauge bracket -VW 387- with dial gauge -VAS 6079- to cylinder head.
–  Determine axial clearance.
l  Wear limit: 0.15 mm.
