Removing and installing bracket for ancillaries
Removing and installing bracket for ancillaries
Removing
–  Detach bonnet → Chapter.
–  Remove poly V-belt → Chapter.
   
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- for magnetic clutch on air conditioner compressor.
  WARNING
Risk of injury caused by refrigerant.
The air conditioner refrigerant circuit must not be opened.
–  Remove bolts -arrows- for air conditioner compressor.
  Caution
Danger of damage to refrigerant lines and hoses.
Do NOT stretch, kink or bend refrigerant lines and hoses.
–  Tie up air conditioner compressor together with refrigerant hoses to lock carrier (refrigerant hoses remain connected).

–  Unscrew wiring for terminal 30/B+ -item 1- from alternator.
–  Unplug electrical connector -2-.

–  Remove bolts -1- and -2- for alternator.
  Note
t  If alternator sticks in its bracket, screw securing bolt back in again down to the last 2 turns.
t  Tap carefully on bolt heads with flat side of hammer to release bushes of alternator mountings.
–  Remove alternator.

–  Remove bolts -arrows- and detach bracket for ancillaries.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Tighten bolts for bracket for ancillaries → Fig..
–  Install alternator → Rep. gr.27.
–  Install air conditioner compressor → Rep. gr.87.
