Installing
Installing
–  Carefully push wheel bearing/hub unit onto stub axle.
Take care to keep wheel bearing/hub unit straight.
If the wheel bearing/hub unit cannot be pushed by hand onto the stub axle as far as the stop, proceed as follows.
   
–  Fit wheel bearing/wheel hub unit onto stub axle as far as it will go.
  Note!
When installing wheel bearing/wheel hub unit on stub axle, apply pressure to inner race only.
–  Attach assembly tool -3420- and pull wheel bearing/hub unit on as far as stop.
–  Unscrew assembly tool -3420-.
–  Fit new twelve-point nut and tighten → Item.
–  Install brake disc and caliper → Brake system; Rep. Gr.46
  A42-0106
–  Drive in dust cap.
  Note!
t  Always renew dust caps.
t  Damaged dust caps allow moisture to enter the bearing. For this reason it is important to use the tool shown in the illustration.
–  Fit and secure wheels → Chapter.
