| 1 - | Track rod ball joint (right-side) |

| q | Pressing off → Chapter |
| 2 - | Lock nut, 50 Nm |
| q | Counterhold at flats on track rod ball joint when loosening and tightening |
| 3 - | Hose clip (spring-type) |
| q | Use spring-type clip pliers -VAS 5024 A- when installing |
| 4 - | Boot |
| q | Unscrew track rod ball joint before removing |
| q | Check for wear (slits, cracks); check sealing surfaces and sealing lips for dirt/damage |
| q | If renewed, check central position of steering box and adjust if necessary → Chapter |
| q | Must not be twisted when toe setting has been adjusted |
| 5 - | Hose clip |
| q | Renew - open with pincers |
| q | Tightening → Anchor |
| 6 - | Track rod |
| q | Tightening torque at rack: 80 Nm |
| q | Counterhold at flats on rack when loosening and tightening → Chapter. |
| q | If renewed, check central position of steering box and adjust if necessary → Chapter |
| 7 - | Sealing collar |
| 8 - | Seal |
| 9 - | Clamp |
| q | Secures steering box to subframe |
| q | Renew if thread is damaged |
| 10 - | Rubber insert |
| q | Steering box/subframe mounting |
| q | Note installation position: step in rubber part must point to the right |
| 11 - | Steering box |
| q | Servicing is restricted to replacement of track rods and rubber boots. |
| q | Removing and installing → Chapter |
| q | Adjusting → Chapter |
