t  Adjusting tool -T40022-
  Note!
Move the subframe only to the left or right (viewed in the direction of travel) and never forwards or backwards.
–  Remove noise insulation.
Vehicles with 1.2 TDI running gear
  W00-1184
–  Detach cover -1- from subframe -arrows-.
All vehicles (continued):
  A44-0136
–  Insert adjusting tool -T40022- with adapter -T40022/2- into the underbody and the suspension bracket and apply a light preload.
–  Loosen bolts securing suspension bracket/subframe to body on one side only.
–  The camber can now be adjusted to the specified value by turning the handle -arrow A- → Chapter.
–  If the specified value cannot be achieved, loosen the bolts securing the suspension bracket/subframe to the body on the other side and repeat the adjustment procedure.
–  Once the specified value has been achieved, insert new subframe bolts into the body and tighten them to 70 Nm.
–  Then release the handle -arrow A-.
–  Press the pin on the adapter -T40022/2- in the direction of the arrow and remove the adjusting tool.
–  Tighten the subframe bolts on the body by turning through a further 90°.
