General notes
The wheel/tyre combinations specified by the factory are listed in → Technical information; Wheels and Tyres Guide.
For reasons of safety, tyres should not be renewed individually, but at least on both sides of one axle.
The tyres with the deeper tread should always be fitted on the front wheels.
The factory recommends using tyres of the same make, design and tread pattern on all wheels.
Always renew the rubber valve when fitting a new wheel rim or tyre.
Tyres must be fitted with the DOT marking facing outwards (in the case of tyres with a directional tread pattern, this only applies to the left-hand side of the vehicle).
If the vehicle is fitted with tyres with a directional tread pattern, the spare wheel should have a wheel/tyre combination for the right-hand side of the vehicle.
Always clean contact surfaces between rims and brake disc.
