Removing and installing rear parking aid senders
Removing and installing rear parking aid senders
   
Removing
–  Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
–  Remove the left luggage compartment side trim → Rep. Gr.70.
–  Unscrew bolts -1 ... 3-.
–  Detach the mounting rail with fastening rings.

–  Screw out bolts -2-.
–  Remove parking aid control unit -J446--Item 1- upwards.
–  Detach electrical connector (black) for rear parking aid senders.
–  Remove the rear bumper → Rep. Gr.63.

–  Detach electrical connector -1- at sender.
–  Push both retainer tabs aside -arrows- and press out the parking aid sender inwards.
Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
–  Fit the rear bumper → Rep. Gr.63.
–  Fit the left luggage compartment side trim → Rep. Gr.70.
