Removing and installing headlight washer spray jets

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Hose clamp pliers -V.A.G 1275-

Removing

–	Remove the front bumper → Rep. Gr.63.

Note

To protect the bumper, place a cloth underneath and hold the spray jet with pliers.

–	Pull the cover for the spray jets upwards at the bumper and carefully disengage the mounts -arrow-.

–	Detach fluid hose -1- at spray jet -4-.

–	Remove bolts -2- and -3- and remove the spray jet.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Note

Secure all hose connections with standard hose clamps → Parts List.

–	Use hose clamp pliers -V.A.G 1275- to install hose clamp.

–	Install the front bumper → Rep. Gr.63.

Tightening torque
