Feeler gauge, 0.3 mm
Procedure
–
Remove voltage regulator
→ Chapter
.
–
Insert 0.3 mm feeler gauge
-item 3-
between protective cap
-2-
and carbon brushes.
–
Pull protective cover off voltage regulator
-1-
-arrow-
.
–
Check length
-a-
of carbon brushes.
l
Wear limit:
-a-
= 5 mm.
–
With protective cap
-2-
in position, press down carbon brushes
-3-
with feeler gauge
-4-
.
–
Slide protective cap on in direction of
-arrow-
until projection on protective cap keeps carbon brushes pressed down.
–
Install voltage regulator
→ Chapter
