| The precise location of the fault is very difficult to find. A damaged fibre optic cable must be renewed by fitting a new cable parallel to the defective one. |

| You can use the menu options in the vehicle diagnostic tester functions „Guided Fault Finding“ or „Guided Functions“ to find out where (between which components) the fibre optic cabling is damaged. |

| A fibre optic cable that has already been repaired is coloured „yellow“. |

| Connect vehicle diagnostic tester and switch on ignition. |
