Establishing PIN number

The Dealer must establish the PIN number on the basis of the 14-position identification number of the immobilizer/engine control unit by way of direct system interrogation (as for direct interrogation of radio code). It is also possible to find out the PIN number from the appropriate Regional Sales Centre or importer.

The 14-position identification number of the engine control unit/immobilizer control unit can be read out by way of the self-diagnosis function "Interrogating control unit version".

The PIN number is intended for internal use only and is not to be divulged to customers.
