Removing and installing mobile telephone operating electronics control unitJ412 (up to MY 03)

Removing and installing mobile telephone operating electronics control unit -J412- (up to MY 03)

–	Switch off all electrical equipment.

–	Remove ignition key.

Removing:

–	Remove floor covering on front passenger's side → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70.

–	Detach cover over intermediate panel.

–	Unplug connector -1-.

–	Screw out both bolts -2- (2 Nm) and take out holder together with control unit -3-.

–	Press both retainer tabs -2- aside in direction of arrow and detach control unit -1- from holder.

Installing:

–	Install accordingly in reverse order of removal.

On installation, make sure control unit is fitted as shown.
