Adaption
Adaption
The "Adaption" function can be used to make and store the following changes:
t  Changes to tyre size
t  Change to number of pulses per wheel revolution
t  Disabling/enabling of production diagnosis
t  Connection of separate or external loudspeakers
Use is made of radio loudspeakers if a radio is fitted. If there is no radio fitted, a separate hands-free loudspeaker is installed with the navigation system.
t  Setting of country identification
The individual functions are called up by way of the appropriate adaption channel number (adaption table → Chapter).
Procedure
–  Start Nav III self-diagnosis → Chapter.
   
Indicated on display:
–  Press keys 1 and 0 (“Adaption”).

Indicated on display:
–  Confirm entry by pressing Q key.

10 Adaption
Indicated on display:
–  Enter required adaption channel (adaption table → Chapter).
–  Confirm entry by pressing Q key.
  Note
After altering adaption value or exiting from adaption channel, function “10 - Adaption” must be implemented again to select a different adaption channel.
