Trailer Lamps: Service and Repair

Trailer Wiring Socket, Removing And Installing 

Removing 

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

CAUTION:

-

Switch off ignition.

-

Switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key 

-

Remove screws -arrows-.

-

Remove socket assembly from mounting plate.

Wiring socket with Switchable Rear Fog Lamp Shut-Off Contact Switch F216 : 

-

Disconnect switch connector -2- and connector -1- from socket.

Wiring socket without Switchable Rear Fog Lamp Shut-Off Contact Switch F216 : 

-

Press multi-pin connector -2- in - direction of arrow - out of socket -1-.
