Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair
Hood Lock Cable
1 - Cable coupling
‹› To disconnect release, fold open coupling in opposite direction of arrow.
‹› Disengage cable from coupling.
‹› When installing, fold together coupling in direction of arrow.
2 - Cable, lock carrier side
‹› When removing, disconnect lock carrier at coupling.
‹› Routing, passenger compartment side => [ Cable In Passenger Compartment ].
3 - Cable clip
‹› Pressed into subframe.
4 - Clips
‹› Secure cable in lock carrier with clip.
5 - Mount
‹› Engage cable in hood lock.
