Figure 5 shows the correct drift position and point of engagement with the roof frame with the headliner removed. It is not necessary to remove the
headliner for this procedure.

Warning:

Wear safety glasses.

8. A moderate strike to the drift with a hammer should be all that is necessary to create clearance between the sunroof frame and the body side wall
flange.

9. Test drive the vehicle to ensure that the noise is no longer present.

10. Reinstall the section of the headliner and rear grab handle according to the repair information in ElsaWeb: Body >> Body Interior >> 70 Trim, noise
insulation >> Roof trim >> Roof grab handle, removing and installing.
