Sunroof / Moonroof Interior Trim Panel: Service and Repair

Sunroof Headliner, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove glass sunroof panel.

-

Pull sunroof headliner far enough toward front until bolts for rear gliding pieces are accessible.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Slide front gliding pieces - 1 - toward front - arrow - until they can be removed.

-

Slide rear gliding pieces toward rear.

-

Pull sunroof headliner toward front out of frame for sunroof operation.

-

Remove rear gliding pieces.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

NOTE:  Make sure that side contact surface for sunroof headliner is free of grease.

Insert rear gliding pieces into guide on frame.

-

Insert sunroof headliner into frame and slide back sunroof headliner.

-

Insert front gliding pieces into guide on frame.
