Thermostat Housing: Service and Repair

Coolant distribution housing with Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat F265, removing and installing

Removing

-

Remove generator.

-

Disconnect coolant pipes.

-

Pull coolant hose - 2 - off from coolant distribution housing, thereby removing retaining clip - 1 -.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and remove coolant distribution housing with Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat F265 from engine.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Tightening torques refer to Engine-side coolant system, assembly overview

Note:

Always replace gaskets and seals.

Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

Clean sealing surface for O-ring.

-

Replace O-ring and coat it with coolant.

-

Install generator.

-

Fill with coolant.
