Intercooler: Testing and Inspection
Charge Air System (engine Codes AXX, BPY, BWA), Checking For Leaks
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Testing unit for turbo charger V.A.G 1687
-
Adapter V.A.G 1687/5
-
Remove insulation pan.
-
Release clasp - A - and disconnect hose - B - from charge air pipe.
-
Connect adapter V.A.G 1687/5 to charge air hose - A - and rotate it around approx. 90 degrees - B -.
Prepare testing unit for turbo charger V.A.G 1687 as follows:
