Removing

-

Remove seat.

-

Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.

-

Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.

-

Disconnect both connectors (yellow and black) under seat not shown in illustration.

-

Remove bolt - 2 -.

-

Remove belt latch - 1 -.

Installing

CAUTION:  The Passive Occupant Detection System (PODS) passenger airbag deactivation belt latch must be replaced each time passenger
belt tensioner deploys.

Installation is reverse of removal.

NOTE:  If Passive Occupant Detection System (PODS) passenger airbag deactivation belt latch is replaced, Passive Occupant Detection System
(PODS) registration sheet must be filled out with serial number and bar code sticker from new belt latch and sent to importer.
