Note:

Replace oil pan gasket and bolts for oil pan.

Replace the O-rings - arrows - on the 20-pin connector of the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic J743.

Coat O-rings with transmission fluid.

Clean sealing surfaces and remove oil residue.

Make sure new oil pan gasket is properly positioned.

Do not pinch any wiring when positioning oil pan.

Screw in 5 new oil pan bolts - arrows - in a diagonal sequence and in steps.

Connect connector of Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic J743 and engage retainer by turning.

Fill transmission fluid and check transmission fluid level.
-
Observe procedures for connecting battery.
