Check spring connections between pressure plate and cover for cracks, and check rivet connections for secure fit.

‹› Replace pressure plate if spring ends are damaged or rivet connections -  arrows - are loose.

 Insert Flywheel Retainer (3067).

Position the pressure plate on the alignment pins.

To center the clutch plate, use the Centering Pin (T10097).

When installing, tighten bolts as follows so pressure plate does not distort (causing shuddering on acceleration):

Make sure that the stop pin (locator) - arrow - can be moved easily.
